Austin’s very first park, and the birth place of the city we love, Republic Square is at the center of the movement for public spaces. Newly renovated in 2017 through an innovative public-private partnership between Austin Parks Foundation, the City of Austin Parks & Recreation Department and Downtown Austin Alliance, this urban oasis has taken its rightful place as a community center, and the premiere park space it was always meant to be. We are excited to host an evening devoted to making the dream of beautiful, accessible parks like this one available throughout Austin.
At The Party
True to the spirit of Party for the Parks, we’re bringing you delicious, and beloved, Austin eats from the one and only Fresa’s al Carbon. Whether picky-eaters, gluten-free, or vegetarian, there’s something for everyone at the table.
Some of the best and brightest booze brands will be on hand to sample Austin’s best all while toasting our parks. Raise your glass and help us toast to great parks for every Austinite!
We’ll host a fantastic silent auction, plus it wouldn’t be an ACL kickoff with the tunes, so we’re welcoming back ACL Music Festival’s own DJ Mel to spin a mix of the 2018 ACL line up!
From luxury vacation packages to outdoor equipment, our silent auction has something for everyone.
Want to help us make the 2018 silent auction a success? Donate individual items and services, or even a full package! We are seeking to build themed packages with a total value of $250 to $6,000. Themes include Date Nights for a year, Festival Fun, Travel and more! Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for details and benefits.

Party for the Parks uses digital auction software by Auction Source for all auction bidding and donations. Simply swipe your card at check-in, and bid away on your mobile device!

Where do I go when I arrive at Republic Square?
Check-in is near the Northwest corner on the Federal Courthouse Plaza. Upon arrival, simply provide your name (paper ticket not required), and be ready to swipe your credit card for mobile auction bidding and donating if you have not done so before the party.
What can I expect at the party?
Silent auction bidding on your mobile device, delicious bites from Fresa’s Chicken al Carbon, and so much more!
What if it rains?
We have a rain plan! Party for the Parks is rain or shine, so come ready to party even if the clouds start gathering.
