Republic Square

422 Guadalupe Street Austin, TX 78701

Austin’s very first park, and the birth place of the city we love, Republic Square is at the center of the movement for public spaces. Newly renovated in 2017 through an innovative public-private partnership between Austin Parks Foundation, the City of Austin Parks & Recreation Department and Downtown Austin Alliance, this urban oasis has taken its rightful place as a community center, and the premiere park space it was always meant to be. We are excited to host an evening devoted to making the dream of beautiful, accessible parks like this one available throughout Austin.

At The Party

Local Grub

True to the spirit of Party for the Parks, we brought you delicious, and beloved, Austin eats from the one and only Fresa’s al Carbon. Whether picky-eaters, gluten-free, or vegetarian, there was something for everyone at the table.

Local Sips

Some of the best and brightest booze brands were on hand to sample Austin’s best all while toasting our parks. Thank you for raising your glass and helping us toast to great parks for every Austinite!

Local Revelry

We hosted a fantastic silent auction, plus it wouldn’t have be an ACL kickoff without the tunes, so we welcomed back ACL Music Festival’s own DJ Mel to spin a mix of the 2018 ACL line up!

Silent Auction

From luxury vacation packages to outdoor equipment, our silent auction had something for everyone.

Donate Items

Want to help us make the 2018 silent auction a success? Donate individual items and services, or even a full package! We are seeking to build themed packages with a total value of $250 to $6,000. Themes include Date Nights for a year, Festival Fun, Travel and more! Contact development@austinparks.org for details and benefits.
