P4P-about

We had a ball at Party for the Parks 2016 and raised over $115,000 for Austin’s parks, trails and green spaces! Thank you to our sponsors, donors, partners and vendors for supporting our mission to fill the funding and resource gap for our chronically underfunded parks. We couldn’t make it happen without YOU and we can’t wait to do it again next year!

Party for the Parks 2017 tickets will be on sale in August 2017, so check back then, and we’ll see you in the parks!

Location

Brazos Hall

204 East 4th Street Austin, TX 78701

Brazos Hall is a turn-of-the-century warehouse at the corner of 4th and Brazos. With its restored long-leaf pine floors, brick walls and wood rafters, Brazos Hall is a venue unlike any other in the heart of downtown. In addition to the historic main room, Brazos Hall offers a rooftop deck with breathtaking downtown views. Brazos Hall is Austin at its finest.

At The Party

Local Grub

Attention foodies – if you crave chips, queso and tasty tacos over wedge salads and rubbery chicken, do we have the party for you! For the second year in a row, Tacodeli brought tortillas and fundido as well as their famous salsas! And the biggest hit of the night, can you say – Donut Wall? Voodoo Doughnut made dessert more than a treat, it was also a great photo opp!

Local Revelry

From live screen printing of local parks gear, to a stellar silent auction featuring packages to pique any interest, there was no shortage of activities to make this a Wednesday night to remember. To top it off Austin’s best and brightest booze brands kept Party for the Parks hydrated. Guests sampled the best of what Austin has to offer all while toasting our parks.

Local Tunes

It wouldn’t be a party in Austin without some local tunes – we’re the live music capital of the world, after all, and we kept the jams coming all night long. One of our favorite jazz combos, Rent Party, made the VIP reception on the rooftop deck a classy affair, and DJ Mel (official DJ for UT Athletics and President Obama) spun some featured ACL artist mixes at the main event.

Auction

Silent Auction

From luxury vacation packages to outdoor equipment, our second-annual silent auction had something for everyone. Our sneak preview will give you a taste of what was on offer.

Do I need to bring my ticket to the party?

Nope! We’ll have your name at the door, so no need to print or bring anything with you to check-in.

Getting to Brazos Hall

Parking in this area is limited, so please take advantage of our transportation sponsors, LUXE (valet) and Ride|Austin (ride-sharing). You must download their respective apps to access their services, but as a special perk to PArty for the Parks guests, both are offering an extra discount with the code PARKS. We also encourage you to try alternative modes of transportation like cycling, carpooling and public transportation.
