What safety precautions will be in place?
We will maintain the health and safety precautions put in place by ACL Music Festival. A negative COVID-19 test result will be required to attend Party for the Parks 2021. The negative COVID-19 printed test result must be obtained within 72 hours (3 days) of attending the party. Patrons who are fully vaccinated may show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination instead of proof of negative test. Masks will be required in areas of Zilker Park where it is difficult to maintain social distancing. Full details can be found here. Let’s work together to keep each other safe and healthy!
Are masks required to attend?
For individuals not fully vaccinated, a negative test must be presented AND a mask worn over the nose and mouth at all times while onsite. Additionally, for all persons regardless of vaccination status, masks must be worn at all times in any indoor space onsite. More information can be found here.
What food options are available?
Party for the Parks will feature an upscale picnic, with vegan and gluten free options available. Each meal will be individually packaged to ensure the health and safety of our guests!
What drink options are available?
Each ticket to Party for the Parks provides access to opens bars with a selection of locally sourced beer, wine and batched cocktails. VIP ticket holders will have access to an exclusive VIP lounge with upgraded drinks and handmade cocktails. We’ll also have non-alcoholic options available to our guests.
Who is able to attend the event?
We’re asking that Party for the Parks guests do not bring children to the event as a safety precaution due to their inability to be vaccinated for COVID-19. In addition, pets are not allowed on the ACL Music Festival grounds.
Why do you need to fundraise? Where does the money go?
Austin Parks Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing peoples’ lives by making our public parks, trails and green spaces better. In our increasingly dense city, where health and a sense of connection are of the utmost importance, the need for parks has never been more urgent. We rely on the generosity of our community to deliver our mission and to develop, maintain, and improve the nearly 300 parks all across the city, meaning your dollars stretch far and wide!
